Privacy & cookies policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
Jon Norman is the data controller for personal information collected through www.jonandchantel.com. For privacy questions or requests, email pa.pastors@soulchurch.com. The PA to the Pastors helps manage enquiries and privacy requests.
Information we collect
When you contact us or enquire about a booking, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, event details and message. We also keep correspondence needed to respond to and manage your enquiry or booking.
Our website and service providers process technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, to deliver and protect the website. If you allow statistics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, including pages viewed and interactions. Cookiebot records your cookie choices.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information in website enquiries unless it is necessary for your request.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer questions and manage correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us and administering our work. Where your request concerns entering into or carrying out a booking contract with you, we use the information to take those steps or perform that contract.
We use necessary technical information to operate, secure and maintain the website, based on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service. We use optional analytics with your consent. Where we must keep or disclose information to meet a legal requirement, our basis is compliance with that legal obligation.
Who can access your information?
Jon and Chantel and the authorised administrative team, including the PA to the Pastors, may access information needed to deal with your request. We use service providers to deliver the website and manage information: Webflow for hosting and website forms; our email service for correspondence; Cookiebot by Usercentrics for cookie consent; Google Analytics for optional website statistics; and Adobe Fonts to display website fonts.
These providers may process technical information or the information needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal information.
International processing
Some service providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, applicable data-protection safeguards are required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual protections. Contact us if you would like information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. At least once a year, we review website enquiries and related correspondence that are more than 12 months old and delete information that is no longer needed.
We may retain information longer while an enquiry or booking remains active, or where needed for accounting, legal obligations or a dispute. We review the continuing need for these records and delete them when that need ends. This review covers website form records and emailed copies. It is an annual review process, rather than automatic deletion exactly one year after a message is received.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Cookiebot manages the choices you make on this website. Necessary cookies support essential functions and remember your choices. Optional statistics cookies help us understand website use through Google Analytics and are enabled only when you allow them.
You can reject optional cookies, accept them, or choose your preferences in the banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom-left of the website or the button below. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
The details section of the Cookiebot banner provides the available cookie information, including purposes and expiry periods. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information; restrict how it is used; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or receive and transfer information where the right to data portability applies. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To make a request or raise a concern, email pa.pastors@soulchurch.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
